Materials List:
cupcake liners (in whatever colors you want the flowers to be) - two per flower
green pipe cleaners/fuzzy sticks - one per flower
paper cup
decorations for the “vase” (washi tape, stickers, etc…)
vase filler such as dried beans (You want something sturdy enough to hold the “flowers” upright.
(optional) light perfume or essential oil to add scent to the flowers.
Steps:
Decorate your “vase” (cup).
Fill the cup 1/3 to 1/2 full with dried beans (or sturdy filler of choice).
Fold pipe cleaner in half and twist completely.
Fold one cupcake liner in half and roll up starting at one end. (This will be the inner part of your flower.)
Take the second cupcake liner (the outer flower petals) and sort-of squish it up around the first one. Adjust as needed.
Once you have the flower the way you want it, twist one end of folded pipe cleaner around the squished end of the paper flower. Twist it enough times to hold the paper flower securely.
Place the completed “flower” in the “vase.”
Repeat the steps to make more flowers.
And now you have your Easy Paper Flowers.
